We do not collect payment information.

We collect personal data through sign-up forms on our membership portal.

We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To communicate with you about events, announcements, and club activities.
- To provide local organizers with your name, city, state, and email address so they can facilitate participation in local events.
- Members' names are available to all other members of the club, but not to the public.This information is shared via the membership portal.
- Names and email addresses of club officers are public. You have the option to provide a separate email address for use as your officer email address for any office that you take. Some officers are provided official email addresses by the club.
- We will share information as needed to comply with laws and legal proceedings.
4. Information Sharing with Third Parties
We only share necessary personal information with trusted third-party partners for specific purposes:
- Age Verification: We share name, email, and address information with AgeChecker.net.
- Payment Processing: We share name and email with our payment partner, Zeffy.
- Mailing List Management: We share email addresses with Topicbox.com.
All third parties we work with are required to keep your information confidential and do not share it with unauthorized parties. Please note: email lists, by their nature, allow participants to see each other’s email addresses when used.
5. Data Storage and Protection
Protected personal information such as name, address, phone number and email address is stored in a secure database. Access to this information is restricted to members approved by the Board of Directors, who must sign a confidentiality agreement to protect member data.
6. Communication & Data Collection
By joining the Modern Enigma Society, you agree to receive emails and announcements from us. Members cannot opt out of communications or data collection, as this is a social club that relies on member engagement.
7. Use of Cookies
Our website uses cookies to track logins and improve user experience. We do not share this data with third parties.
8. Membership Age Requirement
Membership is restricted to individuals 18 years or older.
